For 40 years, he and his son have never crossed paths despite both men living in the same state and hanging around in the same general vicinity as one another. What are the chances of June running into John’s long-lost father just days after John was shot and killed by that annoying little brat, Dakota? I mean, seriously what are the chances? Can we talk about the chances of this actually happening?įirst off, John Dorie Sr. She draws her gun on him and instead of quaking in fear he asks her where she got it.

You guys sure know how to spin a yarn!īack on the RV, June does some swerving maneuvers and knocks the old dude off his feet. Thank you for the awesome writing, Fear The Walking Dead. She’s gone this long without any need for revenge but just suddenly needs to travel hundreds of miles through zombie-infested wasteland in order to kill a man who is already imprisoned and beyond her reach. At this point, of course, she’s fully aware that he’s been jailed in Alexandria and his Saviors disbanded. For some bizarre reason, she’s decided to hoof it back to Virginia where she plans to kill the man responsible for “all of this”: Negan. She reveals to Dwight that she isn’t going to stick with the mask people after all. All this time Dwight spent searching for her, pining after her and she ends up being a terrible human being. Have I mentioned how horrible Sherry is? She’s just the worst. Dwight is in the middle of telling her that he thinks they’ll need to put the poor beast down when she draws her gun and shoots it without blinking. Despite Dwight telling Sherry repeatedly not to over work the horses, she just keeps going at a mad gallop until her horse collapses. Of course, once they drive off both Dwight and Sherry-especially Sherry-are deeply concerned and ride after the RV on horseback. I’m Going Going, Back Back, To Virginia Virginia She’s upset that they have to leave her friends, but honestly since neither Dwight nor Sherry has arrived to help her at this point I’m not sure why she cares. Once the mysterious stranger realizes they’re both after the same thing, he tells June to drive the RV. This, despite him having been on the hunt apparently for years, while Alicia and her little crew were able to find them lickety-split. It turns out he’s been hunting down the same group that Morgan and Alicia (Alycia-Debnam Carey) have been looking for, but hasn’t had quite as much luck. The sharp shooter appears and points a gun at June, asks her if she’s one of them. She pursues the shooter and follows him into his RV where she sees walls filled with investigative pictures and clues and so forth, all pointing toward the Believers-the wacko cult led by Teddy that sprays “The End Is The Beginning” everywhere. So June is turned away and off she goes, meeting up with Dwight and Sherry along the way before running into a mysterious sharp shooter. We don’t see Grace (Karen David) at all, but I suppose she’s all bent out of shape as well, what with having to lose her baby after meeting her as a teenager in dreamland. Sounds more like the writers trying to create a nonsensical scenario to me. I guess June wouldn’t come to them and he was forced to come to her instead? That doesn’t sound like June at all.
